Along with the nesting season, the rainy season is definitely here! But, trust placed in our field biologists will pay off. Despite rain and thunder during the start of our presentations on both Friday and Saturday nights, the storms died off just in time for our participants to see loggerheads nesting and returning to the ocean. We hope this is a lesson in optimism for all our future registrants. If it's raining on your way to the turtle walk, keep in mind that the weather may break, still allowing us the opportunity to watch a female laying her eggs on the beach.
